This company exists because when I made Christ my dwelling place, LOVELY took on new meaning. He is the artist that inspires me. My parents instilled & fed my creativity as a child. I grew up living the Summers in a Victorian house and Winters in a rainbow colored 1948 Greyhound bus. I remember mom doing interpretive worship dance on the beach. Her adoration of God has drawn me to Him. My dad is a preacher and together with mom, they have had services in the local nursing homes for as long as I can remember.
My husband and I live in an old farmhouse. We homeschool our 4 children and together we run French Cupboard, Counting Your Blessings and Porch Magazine. Mr. Blessing is my best friend and he holds my heart. God has been merciful to me - a redheaded, hot tempered, control-freak, head-strong sinner, and He has blessed me exceedingly abuntantly above all that I could ask or think! Here I count the infinite arrangements of joy that He gives.
If anyone lives in the Central Valley of California, Fresno area, you should check out Old Town Clovis! It is full of wonderful shops! I haven't been there since my sister passed in 2005, but I have fond memories of visiting there! It is heaven for the antique lover, the shabby chic lover, the artist in you (ephemera, bits and bobs). Just had to add this!
