Vintage Pink Pigs

Vintage reproduction piggy bank!
I have a friend that collects interesting pigs. I also have a friend that has one as a pet. I did a search for vintage pigs on Etsy and I found 106 listings. Ebay had 728 listings. Wow! I had no idea pigs are that popular. I'm not a collector. But I did read Charlette's Web as a child and I love the movie Babe. Maybe I should collect pigs they sure are cute. I would love to know what you collect. Join the fun at

What a cute pig bank! I don't think I am a pig person. I used to be a monkey person, but my husband usurped that collection. His love of monkeys is far larger than mine. Sometimes I like roosters (the right kinds), elephants or cows...but ultimately I am probably not a animal collector if I can't decide. However, this pig bank IS delicious.

Hi Denise
Ohh what cute pinky piggies those are. I know some people who collect pigs too and they come up with the cutest ones. I know someone who has a real one too and she said he is quite the character...and soooo intelligent. Fun.
Thank you for sharing

I used to be best friends with a pig farmer and I collected pigs back then. I don't even know what happened to my collection. I should go hunting through the garage. I hope you have a wonderful weekend starting with a Pink Saturday!!

Happy Pink Saturday, Denise.

I have a friend and a cousin that collect pigs. It always amazes me how many different ones there are. These are terrific - and so unusual.
